Weighbridge Operator Role

We are seeking an experienced Weighbridge Operator to join our team at our Harlow Depot. As a Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for greeting and managing both internal and external drivers at the site, accurately recording weight data using a Windows-based computer system, and performing general site administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and manage both internal and external drivers at the site.
  • Accurately record weight data using a Windows-based computer system.
  • Weigh vehicles in and out of the site, maintaining electronic site records.
  • Provide site staff with necessary information for production and loading.
  • Perform general site administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and as part of a small team.
  • Hands-on approach to learning plant operations.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.00.
  • Overtime rate of 1.5x after 16:00 & Saturdays, 2x on Sundays.
  • A fixed-term contract from October 2024 – February 2025.
  • A 45-hour workweek with overtime opportunities.
