Job Title: Electronics Design Specialist Role

About the Company: Our client is a dynamic and innovative company specialising in the design, development, and manufacture of cutting-edge electronic solutions.

Salary: This role comes with a competitive salary of approximately £65,000 per annum, based on experience.

Job Description: As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for designing high-quality PCB layouts using industry-standard tools. You will work closely with the design and firmware teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration. Additionally, you will be required to generate and manage design documentation, including Gerber files and BOMs.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in PCB layout design, including single-layer, double-layer, and multi-layer PCBs.
  • Strong knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacture) and EMC compliance principles.
  • Experience with both surface-mount and through-hole components.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple deliverables.
  • Excellent customer-facing and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Experience in Flex PCB designs.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity and power distribution best practices.
