Commercial Senior Underwriter

Salary: £50,000

Location: Bristol

Purpose of Role:

Our client is seeking a highly collaborative and skilled Commercial Senior Underwriter to join their commercial lines team. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service ethos and be able to establish and maintain relationships with brokers and other internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the profitable development of mid-market commercial combined and real estate accounts.
  • Develop and support our clients' commercial lines accounts by engaging and encouraging relationships with regional brokers.

Requirements:

  • A confident decision maker with a strong and decisive approach to underwriting commercial risks.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and provide help and support to others.
  • Experience in underwriting and trading mid-market commercial combined products.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and varied role that requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance and underwriting principles. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders.
