Job Title: Welder Fabricator - TIG Specialist

Job Summary:
Kenton Black Group is currently recruiting for a skilled Welder Fabricator - TIG to join our team at a Precision Engineering firm based in Warwick. Our client manufactures high-quality components for various sectors.

The Role:
The main focus for this position is stainless steel TIG welding. Key responsibilities include reading drawings, creating cutting lists from manufacturer drawings, identifying parts on parts lists, deburring, drilling, folding, rolling, welding, and grinding to a very high standard. Purge welding processes are also desirable.

Key Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will be a very experienced and skilled TIG welder with a basic knowledge of MIG welding. They should have at least 10 years of experience and be competent with stainless steel box section frameworks. Experience with the manufacture of Tooling Trolleys for the Food and Pharmaceutical industries and Stainless Steel water tanks would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will be able to TIG weld stainless steel and steel, and experience with aluminium would be beneficial. They will also be skilled in operating a press brake, sheet metal guillotine, sheet metal rolls, drill press, and other equipment. High attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Experience with training and supervising junior engineers would be preferable. An apprentice-trained background would also be advantageous.
