Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Model Developer to join our team at Meinhardt (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for assisting the Project BIM Lead in the development of the Structural Model and ensuring the delivery of project deliverables under the direction of the BIM Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project BIM Lead to develop and maintain the Structural Model.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed to the highest standard and in accordance with company and/or project specific standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure that the Project BIM Execution Plan is adhered to and all related BIM activities are carried out as instructed.
  • Use Revit to create and modify Structural Models, and create, modify and review 3D models using computer aided design (CAD) applications.
  • Produce models, layouts, detailed drawings, and schedules, and when required produce visualisations from 3D models for use in technical reports, presentations and marketing material.
  • Prepare models for exchange and coordination with other disciplines, consultants and contractor/fabricators.
Requirements
  • Industry relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification; Professional Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum one to two years experience in the Structural Engineering sector with at least two years of BIM/Revit experience.
