Job Title: Mechanical Specialist - Yacht Industry

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Specialist - Yacht Industry to become part of our Ateca team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fitting and assembling various mechanical components and systems on marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fitting and assembly of mechanical components such as engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary machinery on marine vessels.
  2. Installation and alignment of mechanical parts and systems to meet specified requirements.
  3. Regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
  4. Technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications interpretation to ensure accurate fitting and assembly of mechanical components.
  5. Collaboration with marine engineers and team members for the installation and integration of mechanical systems.
  6. Quality and precision assurance in fitting and assembly work according to industry standards.
  7. Safety protocols adherence to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Marine Fitter with a strong track record of mechanical fitting and assembly on marine vessels.
  2. Previous experience working with yachts.
  3. Hand and power tool proficiency for fitting and assembly tasks.
  4. Technical drawing and blueprint reading ability.
  5. Knowledge of mechanical systems commonly found on marine vessels.
  6. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. High school diploma or equivalent.
  8. Certification or apprenticeship in mechanical fitting or a related field.
  9. Prior experience in marine fitting, preferably in shipbuilding or repair.

The estimated annual salary for this position is €50,000 - €60,000 based on experience.
