About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Analyst to join our Financial Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for helping to drive fraud strategy to protect our business from fraud and other financial crime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the fraud control rule structure, working closely with third-party fraud prevention solution providers.
  • Provide support in all aspects of consumer fraud and financial crime, including knowledge of fraud typologies and fraud detection data.
  • Design and implement fraud strategies to detect and prevent consumer credit fraud and financial crime.
  • Use data analysis and modelling techniques to optimise rules and detect fraud while minimising the impact on good sales.
  • Monitor fraud strategy performance, highlighting emerging risks or trends and initiating further actions and analysis.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in data analysis and strategy development for fraud prevention and detection.
  • Highly analytical with a demonstrated ability to solve problems through logical thinking.
  • Experience using SQL, SAS, or Python for data mining and analysis.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to explain complex analysis in a simple and concise way.
  • Excellent organisational skills to prioritise and deliver required output accurately and in a timely fashion.
