We are seeking a skilled Independent Living Advisor to join our team at The Guinness Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing an intensive housing management service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain successful customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist prospective customers in viewing properties and settling into their accommodation.
- Manage tenancy matters, including ensuring customers understand their rights and responsibilities.
- Help customers access housing benefit assistance and financial advice to pay rent/service charges.
- Complete referrals for assistive technology, aids, and adaptations to maintain customer independence.
- Conduct periodic site inspections and tests to ensure the scheme is fully operational and Health and Safety compliant.
- Monitor the quality of contractors, such as window cleaning and grounds maintenance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with the elderly and a proven ability to foster a spirit of co-operation and sense of independence.
- Demonstrable commitment to Equality and Diversity.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £21,521 per annum (full-time equivalent).
- 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
