At Sharp Consultancy, we are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in preparing and developing management accounts, reports, and analysis for our senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in management accounting and commercial finance, with strong analytical skills and the ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders. The estimated salary for this role is £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.

Job Description:

  • Assist in preparing and developing management accounts, reports, and analysis for key business stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for various internal stakeholders and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Collect and input data into financial spreadsheets and reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Help maintain, update, and enhance forecasting models to ensure accurate financial projections and support effective long-term planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare weekly KPIs and review them with the operations team for performance tracking.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Head of Finance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified in ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in management accounting and commercial finance.
