About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at Dunbar Education's SEN school in Harlow. As a Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality education to our pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils with SEND.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to participate in their learning journey.
  • Work closely with support staff, including teaching assistants and external specialists, to provide personalised support to each pupil.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting your teaching strategies to meet the needs of each child and ensure they are progressing towards their goals.
  • Liaise with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's development and working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes.
What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from both newly qualified teachers (NQTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEND. You don't need to be an expert in SEN just yet-what matters most is your dedication, enthusiasm, and a desire to help every child succeed.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. A passion for working with children with special educational needs and a desire to provide a high-quality, child-centred education are also essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, are also required.
