About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Quality Specialist to join our team in Sunderland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Description:
  • Inspecting and Testing Products: You will be responsible for inspecting and testing products before, during, and after the manufacturing process to ensure they meet company and legal standards.
  • Picking and Packing: You will be involved in picking and packing products ready for dispatch.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You should have excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: You should be able to problem solve and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Fitness: You should be physically fit and able to work in a warehouse environment.
Preferences:
  • Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse sector would be beneficial.
  • Team Player: You should be able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Shift Pattern: The role involves an 8.5 hour shift, Monday to Friday, with two shift rotations (days and nights).
  • Overtime: There may be opportunities for overtime.
  • Salary: The salary for this role is £11.44 per hour.
