CNV Production Engineer Job Description

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a highly skilled CNV Production Engineer to join our client's team in the Baglan area. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of £36,280 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Plant Manager in achieving efficiency and quality goals related to industrial activities in accordance with the company's policies.
  • Ensure the achievement of productive, quality, and cost-effective aims in compliance with safety, environmental, and product safety provisions and policies.
  • Support relationships with stakeholders from a technical perspective.
  • Liaise with other departments to maximize productivity, efficiency, and service to clients.
  • Check and manage production and maintenance costs.
  • Guarantee the correct management and maintenance of plants.
  • Optimize energy consumption and raw material exploitation.
  • Validate production reports.
  • Collaborate with the CTO area personnel to improve productive efficiency, production costs, energy consumption, and environmental impact.
  • Manage relationships with plant trade union representatives in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure professional development of technical personnel.
  • Promote a safety-bound corporate culture and corporate principles and values.
Requirements:
  • Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with checking and validating production reports.
  • Experience in dealing with safety, environmental, and product safety matters.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and problem-solve.
  • Ability to operate in an office and hands-on environment.
  • Adaptability, learning, and SMED project management skills.
