Job Title: Commercial and Contracts Manager

Location: Leyland (Head Office)

Salary: Circa £42,000 Dependant on experience

We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Commercial Manager to join our team at QUDOS CONSULTANCY LTD. As the Commercial Manager of Landscaping, you will oversee estimating, tendering, and managing the commercial aspects of our contracts.

The Role: You will work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure smooth project scheduling, address minor works, variations, and customer care tasks in the fast-paced construction environment. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a key player in driving the commercial success of the business.

  • Develop and manage project-specific bills of quantities, tracking progress and ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  • Work with the Office Manager to track project profitability, refining our pricing strategies.
  • Handle invoicing and applications for payment according to contract terms.
  • Manage our customer care database, ensuring outstanding and responsive service.

  • Highly Analytical: You should be comfortable working with construction drawings, spreadsheets, and data.
  • Process and Systems-Driven: You excel at breaking down new challenges into steps, creating standardised systems and processes that can be scaled and improved over time.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with job management systems and applications is a plus, as these tools will be central to your work.
  • Annual bonus based on company and personal performance.
