Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Manager to join our Technology team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with strategic suppliers, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and identifying trends to inform contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key internal client and customer relationships, ensuring business objectives and supplier objectives remain aligned within regulatory frameworks.
  • Identify trends, summarise findings, and provide feedback on existing contract performance to inform new contract processes and negotiations.
  • Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers, working within a contract management plan, and adhering to regulatory supplier compliance management frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Procurement & Legal to review, maintain, and renegotiate necessary legal contracts.
  • Evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with contracts and escalate where necessary.
  • Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders to identify and address their needs and concerns.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of procurement and supplier management policies and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in balancing priorities in fast-paced environments to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in supplier management within large, regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations relating to outsourcing and supplier activity.
  • Risk, Conduct, and Compliance Management expertise.
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills at all levels.
  • An understanding of commercial contracts and their implications.
