About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Music Teacher to join our team as a Key Stage Music Leader. As a passionate advocate for music education, you will support curriculum development for Music and take an active role in the wide-ranging extra-curricular offer.

You must have experience teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 would be advantageous but not essential), with the ability to raise student achievement and add value to the Music curriculum. Excellent, up-to-date subject knowledge and a passion for teaching your subject are essential.

The school has a strong commitment to the Arts, ensuring that Music plays a central role in their curriculum despite national curriculum reforms and external pressures.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching Music to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • SUPPORTING curriculum development for Music
  • Active participation in the wide-ranging extra-curricular offer

The salary for this role is approximately £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
