**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at TM Green Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our education sector projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the commercial process, from pre-construction through to final account
- Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts
- Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting, ensuring projects are kept within budget
- Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations
- Liaise with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Conduct risk analysis and value management to optimize project value
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, ideally with exposure to education projects
- Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and construction law
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
- Experience with cost management software and MS Office applications
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
