About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operational Support Specialist to join our team at Finsbury Food Group. As an Operational Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory in Hamilton.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and output. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining facility areas to a high standard, following all health and safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Follow instructions for the cleaning of facility areas, including locker rooms, toilets, and canteens.
  • Operate floor cleaning equipment and ensure that facility areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Report any issues or potential health and safety risks to management.
  • Complete all tasks efficiently to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
  • Undertake duties to enhance external areas, such as light weeding and ground work, and clean communal areas.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to work alone or within a group, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Pride in your work and completion of tasks from start to finish.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to hit deadlines.
