At TDRS, we are seeking a skilled Industrial Door Installation Specialist to join our growing engineering team in Chertsey. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate up to £19.50 per hour, depending on experience and location.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with automatic doors, industrial doors, gates, and barriers, with a strong focus on service, maintenance, and repair. A valid EN 16005 certificate is highly desirable, along with a clean driving license and CSCS Card.

The successful candidate can expect a comprehensive remuneration package, including:

  • Hourly rate: Up to £19.50 per hour, dependent on experience and location
  • Overtime rates: Premium overtime rates at 1.5 x after 9.5 hours per day; travel time is considered overtime
  • Saturdays and Sundays: Paid at 1.5 and 2.0 times respectively
  • Commission scheme: Average earnings of £3,000 per year
  • Benefits: All power tools and hand tools provided, brand new professionally racked company van - personal use optional, mobile phone, tablet

This role involves a mix of site-based work and callouts, with a potential for 15 calls per day when on call, plus an additional payment per call and 3 hours double time minimum. Engineers will also undergo training, including the DHF Gate Diploma, DHF Door Diploma, and IPAF certification.
