Inventory Management Lead

Point Professional Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Inventory Management Lead to join their team in Huntingdon. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for leading the inventory management process, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining high-quality control standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective inventory management systems, procedures, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to produce a daily schedule of inventory movements.
  • Arrange the dispatch of finished products using the most cost-effective means of transport.
  • Responsible for reviewing all raw material and packaging demand, placing orders as required to ensure they are available to satisfy production requirements.
  • Responsible for stock control of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies, correct stock levels, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain departmental KPIs and produce reports as required for dissemination to operational leadership.
  • Monitor and control the level of recyclable materials on site.
  • Update and maintain training records for all staff using Forklift Trucks and Powered Pallet Trucks.
  • Actively participate in and lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Conduct staff annual appraisals, first-level disciplinaries, performance improvements (PIP), and absence reviews.

Working Hours: 09:00 until 17:00, Monday to Friday. Estimated Salary: £33,000 per annum.
