English Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to inspire and engage students in the study of English literature and language. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified educator to make a significant impact on our students' learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver engaging English lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  2. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with the national curriculum.
  3. Monitor and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  4. Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school training events.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop new curriculum materials and teaching resources.
  6. Contribute to the school's extracurricular programmes, such as reading clubs or writing workshops.
Requirements:
  1. Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in English.
  2. Demonstrable experience in teaching English at secondary school level.
  3. Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and current educational practices.
  4. Commitment to continuous professional development.
