The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our design team at Apex Resourcing Solutions Ltd. Our client is a leading Building Services Consultancy with a strong presence in various industries, including Commercial, Residential, Education, Retail, Leisure, and Healthcare.

The Position

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the design team to deliver high-quality projects and providing exceptional client care.
  • Conducting site surveys and preparing reports to ensure accurate project documentation.
  • Developing and delivering technical reports and designs that meet project requirements.
  • Carrying out condition surveys and feasibility studies to inform project decisions.
  • Producing designs, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software.
  • Assisting with the supervision and mentoring of junior engineers and providing technical support as needed.
The Person

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Building Services.
  • Experience in Electrical Engineering/Building Services design environment.
  • Strong technical report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in software packages like Amtech, IESVE, AutoCAD, and 3D Revit.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in MS Excel.
