Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Clancy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing and delivering electrical systems, with a focus on Extra High Voltage (EHV) systems and Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (EICA) designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop electrical designs, including lighting systems, power distribution, and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to determine project requirements and specifications.
  • Perform site visits to assess existing electrical systems and develop effective design solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and analysis of electrical prototypes and installations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare accurate project documentation, including bills of materials and cost estimates.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in electrical design, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design, such as AutoCAD, ETAP or Revit.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
