Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Location: Leicestershire

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Leicestershire. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for optimizing our production processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards.

About the Role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement advanced manufacturing technologies. Your expertise will be essential in developing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and quality.

  1. Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and quality
  2. Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor and implement sustainable solutions
  3. Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  4. Collaborate with design and production teams to streamline new product introductions (NPI)
  5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
  2. Proven experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or production management
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement
  4. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing technologies
  5. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies
