Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Control Administrator to join our team at Irlam Associates. As a key member of our Stock Control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our stock control processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter stock data into our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform daily stock counts, re-counts, and audit counts to ensure stock levels are accurate.
  • Book new stock into the warehouse upon receipt.
  • Investigate and report any discrepancies or short shipments.
  • Flag and address any stock issues or anomalies.
  • Liaise with buying, warehouse, and other teams to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Ensure order and stock discrepancies are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Raise credits or claims for missed deliveries or inaccurate quantities.
  • Compile monthly reports for account managers and clients.

Requirements:
  • Previous stock control or stock experience is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to cover all areas of the Stock department.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
