Principal Analog IC Design Engineer

IC Resources is seeking a highly skilled Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join our team in Bristol, South West, England. As a leading member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and laying out high-performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs and taking a technical lead role on significant chip developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout of high-performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs
  • Technical lead role on significant chip developments
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, applications, product/test engineering)
  • Contribution to the technical direction and policies for the wider design team
  • Support, motivate, and advise more junior engineers
  • Prioritization and management of multiple projects in parallel to ensure key milestones are met

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience in Analog IC design
  • Good BSc or equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Deep and intuitive understanding of CMOS analogue circuit design practice
  • RF (1GHz +) analogue circuit design experience
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification (MSc / PhD)
  • 25GHz + circuit design experience
  • Project leadership experience
