About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at EMCOR Group (UK) Plc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and overseeing the maintenance and repair of our mobile locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality maintenance and repair services
  • Participate in long-term preventative maintenance programs and projects
  • Check and confirm the accuracy of work performed and methods used by engineering staff
  • Assist the M&E Supervisor in implementing EMCOR policies, procedures, and standards
  • Provide accurate record keeping and maintain an up-to-date training database
  • Undertake regular updates and meetings with line managed staff
Requirements
  • Minimum of HNC/HND in Engineering or time served technical apprenticeship
  • Qualified to 18th edition electrical C&G or Mechanical C&G certificate
  • Experience in a building service environment
  • Articulate, numerate, and IT literate
  • Understanding of legislative compliance and contract law
  • Commercial awareness and knowledge of budget preparation, negotiation, and management
