We are seeking a skilled Technical Instructor to join our therapies team at The Wellington Hospital, a leading provider of private healthcare in London. As a Technical Instructor, you will work under the direction of qualified Physiotherapists to deliver exercise-based programs to patients with neurological conditions.

About the Role:

  • Deliver exercise-based programs to patients with neurological conditions
  • Work under the direction of qualified Physiotherapists
  • Lead group-based exercise sessions with or without technological equipment
  • Perform non-clinical duties and support the upkeep and maintenance of gym and technological equipment

The Wellington Hospital has over four decades of expertise in providing high-quality care to patients with complex neurological conditions. Our 50-bed Acute Neurological Rehabilitation Unit is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Able to use Microsoft programs (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Effective communication styles
  • Previous experience of work in exercise or within a physiotherapy setting
  • Completion of a science-based degree or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience working as a Physiotherapy Assistant (desirable)
  • Undertaken exercise-based training/courses (desirable)
