We are seeking a highly motivated and trustworthy Personal Assistant to join our team and support two young men with learning and physical disabilities.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, toileting, and showering, dressing and shaving, as well as helping to promote independence skills in and around the home.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as cooking and cleaning
- Supporting the gentlemen with accessing activities and events in the community
- Providing transportation to venues of their choice
- Accompanying them to appointments and medical appointments
- Providing overnight support, including sleep-ins
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full clean driving license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, patient, and supportive approach
- Flexibility and ability to use your initiative
- A good sense of humor and a fun-loving attitude
We offer a competitive rate of pay, up to £11.54 per hour, and a contributory pension entitlement. You will also have the opportunity to work with two lovely young men who enjoy life.
Please note that this is a 12-month contract, and you will be directly employed by the customer, not by PeoplePlus.
