Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Doncaster, a category B Remand Prison. As a General Practitioner with Practice Plus Group, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality healthcare to a diverse group of patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality healthcare to patients, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Provide specialist support to other members of the healthcare team and patients.
  • Participate in clinical governance and effectiveness activities to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements

  • MBChB or MBBS qualification.
  • Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
  • Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal.
  • Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.
  • RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
