TfGM is seeking an experienced AWS Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help transform its infrastructure to a modern, scalable, and secure environment. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing team that provides services with far-reaching impacts on the traveling public.

As our Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for continuously improving the infrastructure, deploying and managing environments, and helping engineers work more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve the infrastructure to ensure it is scalable, secure, and reliable
  • Deploy and manage environments to support business needs
  • Help engineers work more efficiently by providing training and support
  • Identify and resolve issues that occur in the infrastructure
  • Contribute to platform architecture and design to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Experience acting as 3rd line support for incidents, problems, and changes to infrastructure solutions and services
  • Experience of technical change impacting and performing changes in a live service environment
  • Monitoring of infrastructure services and alerts and taking appropriate action
  • Experience of configuration and maintenance of infrastructure as code
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems across multiple technology domains
  • Strong stakeholder management skillsets, with ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels
  • AWS practitioner, administration, system operations certification or equivalent experience
