Painter and Decorator

A Painter and Decorator is required to join our team at HMP Whitemoor, a category A, male prison. As a member of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth and safe operation of the prison.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out painting and decorating tasks to a high standard
- Work alongside experienced colleagues to maintain the prison's facilities
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and nurturing environment for prisoners, employees, and visitors
- Participate in the maintenance and repair of prison facilities
- A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and decorating (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a maintenance team
- An honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace
- 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays
- Death in Service at 4x salary
