Safeguarding Lead Practitioner Role

At Ackerman Pierce Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Lead Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and taking new safeguarding referrals. Your primary focus will be on gathering information to determine safeguarding and risk mitigation, as well as considering all duties under Section 42.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
  • Taking new safeguarding referrals
  • Gathering information to determine safeguarding and risk mitigation
  • Considering all duties under Section 42

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Safeguarding Lead Practitioner
  • HCPC Registration
  • 2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Good communication skills, able to negotiate and resilience are essential
