Engineering Geologist

About the Role:

Austin Fraser's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading Geotechnical and Investigation Services Company to recruit a Geo-Environmental Engineer for its South Wales site. This position comes with a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise intrusive investigation activities such as drilling, trial pitting, and in-situ testing.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  1. BSc degree level qualified in geology/earth sciences or a related environmental subject.
  2. Full UK driving licence essential.
Professional Benefits:
  1. Familiar with and able to interpret geological maps and published geological data.
  2. Experienced with geotechnical in-situ testing e.g. CBR, Plate Bearing, TRL DCP & Soakaway testing.
  3. 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
