Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at 1st Executive Limited. As a key member of our Global Sourcing team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end complex sourcing projects across the breadth of the indirect spend category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage senior level stakeholders to ensure the value of Procurement is recognised
  • Deliver multiple tenders and negotiations for the category, drafting and issuing RFx documentation, completing offer analysis inclusive of technical and commercial scoring, negotiating contractual and commercial terms, preparing recommendations for the client
  • Support the Category Manager in the definition and execution of strategies for the different spend areas
  • Participate in internal company continuous improvement projects and initiatives, including internal training initiatives and supplier forums
Requirements:
  • Procurement experience gained in the Indirect spend category
  • Proven experience of delivering indirect sourcing projects
  • Ability to work well in a high volume, and demonstrate delivery on fast-paced multi-project environment
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skill-set; demonstrating success in influencing decision making
  • Experience of working in a regulated industry sector
  • Degree or CIPS qualified is preferred
