About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustainable Design professional to join our team at CV Library. As a Principal Design Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering key project workstreams, engaging with clients to ensure project delivery within established timelines and budgets, and effectively navigating any changes that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide BREEAM consultancy services on a range of asset types, including offices, data centres, education and training facilities, residential institutions, and workshops.
  2. Lead client and design team workshops, ensuring clear and articulate communication.
  3. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop sustainable design strategies and produce sustainability statements in support of planning applications.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject.
  2. Understanding of Building Regulations.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex sustainable design concepts to clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  1. Experience in DREAM and Sustainability Appraisals for projects in the defence sector.
  2. Some experience in thermal modelling or SAP assessments.
