About the Role

This exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team, providing specialist clinical support and rehabilitation services to patients in various locations across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality audiological assessments, developing and implementing care programs, and working closely with the Team Lead to achieve service objectives and waiting time targets.

Job Description
  • Routine audiological assessments, patient rehabilitation, and development of personalized care programs.
  • Supporting the Team Lead in achieving service goals, reducing waiting times, and implementing work programs.
Key Responsibilities

The Audiologist will be employed for 37 hours per week, working a shift pattern that may include 0900-1700 (x4 days) and 0900-1630 (x1 day). The role involves working at various locations, including district general hospitals, health centers, community hospitals, nursing homes, and patient homes. The successful candidate will be required to adapt their working patterns as needed to meet the demands of the service.

Requirements
  • Audiology BSc or equivalent qualification, such as BAAT Parts 1 & 2 with NC Physiological Measurement.
  • Current full registration with The Academy for Healthcare Science (RCCP).
