Deputy Director of Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Development to join our team at 9-2-3 JOBS Limited. As a key member of our Development Office, you will play a crucial role in advancing our fundraising and alumni relations strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies for mid-level and major donors
  • Oversee the implementation of a comprehensive stewardship and recognition program for all donors
  • Manage the Development Team's fundraising financial operations, including database management and fundraising systems
  • Lead and manage the Development Team, including the Campaigns and Data Officer and the Development Officer
  • Collaborate with the Director of Development to create fundraising literature and develop fundraising proposals
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in development work within the higher education sector
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Experience managing and training team members
  • Highly numerate with Donor Management Database expertise
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
