Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Bright Flex Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to our youngest learners, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the highest standards of care and education to children aged 0-2 years, in line with the Bright Beginnings, Bright Horizons curriculum and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the highest levels of supervision and safety are maintained at all times, adhering to our Keeping Everyone Safe policies and procedures.
  • Support the observation and assessment process, working in partnership with parents to ensure the needs of all children are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the room leader and Early Childhood Specialists to drive continuous improvement and embed inspirational early years pedagogy.
  • Support the promotion of the Bright Horizons brand, securing the company as the provider of choice for families, corporate clients, and employees.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant level 3 or above childcare qualification.
  • 12 hours paediatric first aid qualification (can be completed as part of induction).
  • Food Hygiene or equivalent training and compliance in food management (can be completed as part of induction).
  • Relevant safeguarding/child protection training undertaken and a willingness to update training regularly.

Personal Attributes:

  • Able to communicate clearly with adults and children using a variety of techniques (oral and in writing).
  • Ability to support and inspire children in achieving the highest standards of care and education.
  • Able to manage workload and manage time effectively.
  • Able and competent user of company ICT systems and have the willingness to learn and develop ICT skills.
