Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. They will also conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. A compassionate and caring approach to animals is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a veterinary degree from a recognized institution and a valid veterinary license to practice in the UK. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. A compassionate and caring approach to animals is required.
