Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Access & External Affairs Administrator to join our team at Takeda. As a key member of our department, you will provide comprehensive support services to our Market Access & External Affairs Directors and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Market Access & External Affairs Directors and teams, including operational and organizational tasks.
  • Support budget management, maintaining organized records of PO's raised, invoices received, and payment status. Raise purchase orders for the department and liaise with suppliers as appropriate.
  • Work with MA operations to ensure accurate budgeting, forecast spend, and spend-to-forecast.
  • Assist with the organization and smooth running of Assessment Centres and interviews.
  • Manage existing administrative systems and develop new processes using your own initiative.
  • Liaise and plan Market Access and External Affairs input into National Meetings in conjunction with the Communications team and other Business Units.
  • Assist the Market Access & External Affairs Directors with logistics for internal and external meetings, national meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Attend off-site internal and external meetings, which may require travel and overnight stays.
  • Work collaboratively with other Business Units as required and ensure support and communication for cross-functional projects.
  • Maintain divisional-level records and assist in providing Business Unit information required for company audit and planning purposes.
  • Greet Market Access and External Affairs visitors and candidates, establishing the nature and priority of their requirements.

Requirements

  • GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Mathematics. A Business admin qualification is preferred.
  • Experience of providing administrative support at a senior level.
  • Resilient and able to communicate effectively.
  • Proactive and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Planning and Organising, attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of general office procedures.
  • Understanding of working in a compliance-based industry.
