About the Role

Henderson Scott is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Algorithm Specialist to join its Guidance, Control, and Navigation team.

This position requires strong software development and algorithm design expertise, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing complex algorithms for precision navigation and control systems.
  • Leveraging expertise in machine learning and data analysis to drive innovation and improve system performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in software development and algorithm design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing scalable solutions.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £58,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and professional development.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the development of advanced algorithms for next-generation weapon systems.
