IT Educator

Salary: £165,000 - £255,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate IT educator to deliver engaging and comprehensive computer science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality IT lessons.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage students.
• Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
• Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school events.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in IT education and integrate new technologies into the curriculum.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching IT at secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and software development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
