Job Overview:

Ginger Science, Innovation & Technology is seeking a meticulous Procurement Coordinator to join our established team in Burnley. As a key member of the supply chain team, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels and managing forecasts to ensure continuous supply of high-quality fresh products to clients.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with experience in procurement or supply planning within the food sector. Your strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office will enable you to accurately manage stock levels and forecast product demand.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Accurately manage stock levels and forecast for assigned product range.
  • Collaboration with Senior Buyer: Collaborate with the Senior Buyer to analyze product range performance and coordinate new product launches.
  • Sustainability and Efficiency: Drive efficiency and reduce waste by managing optimum stock levels.
  • Supplier Partnerships: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain stock quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience in procurement or supply planning within the food sector.
  • Knowledgeable in negotiation and supplier management.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Committed to delivering outstanding quality and service to both internal and external customers.
  • Positive and open to new ideas and continuous improvement.

Location: Burnley

Salary: £32,000 (negotiable based on experience)
