We are seeking an exceptional Specialist SEMH Teacher to join our team at a specialist school for pupils with SEMH and ASD. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of social, life, and independence skills in our pupils.
The successful candidate will have experience of teaching and supporting pupils with SEMH and complex needs, and will be passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning. You will be a skilled KS2/KS3 Teacher with a creative approach to curriculum delivery and a commitment to continuous improvement.
As a Specialist SEMH Teacher, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of SEN Specialists to provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for our pupils. You will be responsible for teaching across the curriculum, with the support of our specialist teachers, and will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.
About the SchoolOur school is an independent special school that provides education for pupils aged 5 to 19 with SEMH and ASD. We use a therapeutic approach to support our pupils with their individual difficulties, and everything we do is based on the formation and maintenance of positive relationships and viewing all behaviour as communication.
