As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service, providing exceptional customer service to students and staff, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner according to established menus and recipes * Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils * Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination * Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies * Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs * Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards Requirements: * Ideally have experience working within education catering * Have good Health & Safety knowledge * Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused * Fun and enthusiastic * Have excellent organization skills * Demonstrate great attention to detail * Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team * Possess great customer service skills * Have a flexible approach to work About Us: Holroyd Howe is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all employees to share this commitment.
