About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridging Finance Underwriter to join our team at Imperium Search. As a key member of our Origination team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the initial review of potential new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Early Underwriting and Structuring: Provide expert underwriting and structuring knowledge to support the Origination team in evaluating new business opportunities.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential mitigants to ensure the viability of loan applications.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with our in-house surveying and legal teams to diligence applications, identify risks, and ensure good and marketable title.
  • Facility Document Management: Collaborate with the Head of Legal to ensure accurate and timely preparation of Facility Documents, including special loan conditions and milestone dates.
  • Loan Closing and Funding: Oversee the loan closing process, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place and the loan is funded efficiently.
Requirements
  • Experience in Real Estate Debt: Proven experience in the real estate debt sector, with a strong understanding of bridging finance and its various asset classes.
  • Underwriting and Structuring Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in underwriting, structuring, and deal execution, with a strong analytical and numerical skillset.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and motivated to learn new skills and continue personal and professional development.
