We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Asquith Primary School in Leeds.

As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will work closely with the Inclusion team to support pupils with behaviour and/or social or emotional needs. Your role will involve working on a 1:1 / small group basis across the whole school, providing a first response to challenging incidents.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong behaviour management skills and a positive approach to behaviour management. You will also need to be able to assist the class teacher and other professionals in developing suitable educational activities for children who are struggling in the classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, able to work well in a team, and have a supportive and welcoming presence in the classroom. They will also understand how children learn and use their initiative to meet individuals' needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people. We offer a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
