We are committed to delivering high-quality food and service, and we are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our culinary team as a Preparation Chef.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Undertake all kitchen porter responsibilities as required.
  2. Prepare dishes in line with company specifications at all times.
  3. Support the senior chef on duty to ensure a smooth service.
  4. Prepare food in line with prep lists and ensure that all food presented to customers is prepared with the freshest ingredients and to TRG standard.

Requirements

  1. Strong kitchen experience is essential.
  2. Calm and able to work under pressure.
  3. Able to communicate clearly and promptly.
  4. Flexible with tasks and working hours.

Food Quality, Presentation and Hygiene

  1. To ensure that all food presented to customers is prepared with the freshest ingredients and to TRG standard.
  2. To be responsible for preparing and presenting quality food and all final products leaving the kitchen are to the Company Standard.
  3. To report any issues with food quality and freshness from suppliers or the central kitchen to the Head / Senior chef or the General Manager.
  4. To follow the Stock Labelling (DOT system) and Rotation System (FIFO) to ensure the products are identifiable and used in the correct order.
  5. To be aware of correct temperatures for deliveries, storage and cooking and recording them on the temp log sheets daily.
  6. To actively support Head / Senior Chef in implementing any menu changes following the Company.
