Job Title: Apprentice Multi Trade Operative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Multi Trade Operative to join our team at Fraser Edwards Recruitment. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of tasks across multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, and minor brickwork.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop their skills. You will be working on a MOD Contract, undertaking works in void and tenanted properties, and will be required to log your activities via a PDA.

Key duties will include:

  1. Basic plumbing and carpentry tasks
  2. Minor brickwork and sealing/silicone work
  3. Snagging works and patch plastering
  4. Liaising with customers, clients, and staff

You will also be required to participate in a call-out rota, which will include a standby fee and paid call-outs at a rate of 1.5 times your hourly rate.

Company Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £32,000, as well as a range of additional benefits, including:

  1. Callout OTE - £2500 - £3000
  2. Additional overtime available

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  1. A full UK driver's license
  2. A core trade qualification (although not essential)
  3. At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
