About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to oversee the operations of our care homes and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, implementing policies and procedures, and supporting and mentoring staff to deliver outstanding care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and management, including recruiting and training staff, and ensuring they are equipped to complete their tasks.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of the care homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development.
  • Ensure that the care homes are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain and enhance the quality of care and environment provided to residents.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Implement performance monitoring and reporting systems to track key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
  • Proven experience in managing a care home or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
